# Switching Instagram to Professional / Business Mode

Firstly, go to your profile page, click the ≡ and go to Settings.

Secondly, click on "Account" and then "Switch to professional account" at the bottom.

After clicking “Continue”, you can choose the categories relating to your business to help your business find accounts like yours. You may proceed to the next step by clicking "Done".

Click on "Business" and "Next" to proceed.

You may add your contact information here to connect with customers easier. Click "Next" to complete the procedure. Your Instagram account will now be switched into professional / business mode.
