# Adding/removing tags through automation

For adding tags, select "Add Tag" as your choice.

Select the tags you wish the automation to help you insert to contacts. You may select more than one tag from the list.

To remove tags, choose "Remove Tag" as your action. Repeat the above steps by unchecking the boxes to allow the automation to remove specific tags for you.
